THE POWER OF TWO WORKING FOR YOU We will be there for you from start to finish and beyond. Tom Nilsson was born in Sweden and came to the United States at the age of 9. He lived in Santa Monica where he worked alongside his dad as a photographer. Dad bought a lot in South Lake Tahoe in the early 60’s and being the adventurous kind, they decided to move to Tahoe and build themselves a house.  It proved to be life changing.  Tom really liked building, worked with other contractors, and at the age of 26, had a General Contractor’s License. Pam chose elementary teaching as a career and did this full and part-time. She also managed some involvement in the many homes Tom built, usually the “dummy end” and “go-fer” but her favorite was and is the designing of efficient kitchens.
